Quick Overview

The Bloodhoof tauren reached Mulgore after years of danger on the open plains. With the help of Thrall's orcs, they repelled centaur attacks and secured a homeland in the valley. The victory allowed Cairne's people to begin replacing constant flight with permanent settlements.

Full History

The centaur had pursued the wandering tauren across Kalimdor for generations, striking at their herds and making safe places difficult to hold. Cairne Bloodhoof led his people through this long pressure while preserving the customs that gave the tribe its identity. When Thrall's newly arrived orcs encountered the tauren, they found allies whose need was urgent and whose courage they respected.

The orcs helped Cairne defend his people and resist the centaur pursuing them. Their alliance did not mean that the tauren's troubles were over, but it gave the tribe a chance to take and keep land rather than retreat again. Mulgore offered a defensible valley where families and herds could gather.

Cairne's decision to settle there changed the tribe's future. Bloodhoof Village and, above the plains, Thunder Bluff became signs of a people rebuilding without surrendering their old ways. The land was not empty of other dangers, but the Bloodhoof tauren had gained the foundation for a home they could defend together.
