Quick Overview
Bloodhoof Village grew from the tauren's effort to secure Mulgore after years of wandering. Families needed places to trade, preserve customs, care for herds, and prepare their children for a world that might finally offer some stability. Dangers persisted beyond Mulgore's safer ground, and Cairne still had to hold together tribes with differing ideas about their future.
Full History
Bloodhoof Village grew from the tauren's effort to secure Mulgore after years of wandering. Cairne Bloodhoof had led his people through repeated clashes with centaur raiders, and the alliance he formed with Thrall made a more permanent settlement possible. Rather than scatter across the plains whenever danger approached, the tribes began to gather in a homeland they could defend.
The Bloodhoof name carried Cairne's authority into that new life. Families needed places to trade, preserve customs, care for herds, and prepare their children for a world that might finally offer some stability. The village formed part of a wider network centered upon Thunder Bluff, linking the high chieftain's people to the grasslands they had struggled to keep.
Settlement did not end conflict. Dangers persisted beyond Mulgore's safer ground, and Cairne still had to hold together tribes with differing ideas about their future. Bloodhoof Village belongs to the history of that hard-won unity: the moment when survival ceased to mean perpetual movement and began to mean responsibility for a shared home.
