Quick Overview
Kilrogg Deadeye led the Bleeding Hollow clan through the First and Second Wars. His warriors guarded the Horde's occupied territories in Khaz Modan. After the Horde's defeat, he evaded the Alliance's attempts to capture him. The reopening of the Dark Portal gave him a path back to Draenor and a renewed place among the clans gathered by Ner'zhul.
Full History
Kilrogg Deadeye was an aging but cunning chieftain when the Horde crossed into Azeroth. His Bleeding Hollow clan was counted among the Horde's most formidable and persistent forces. During the Second War, its warriors helped hold the conquered lands of Khaz Modan, where the Horde depended on mines and foundries to sustain its campaigns. This was not a minor assignment: without those resources, the armies marching north could not replace what they spent in battle.
Orgrim Doomhammer's war ended in defeat, and many of the surviving orcs were killed or taken into human camps. Kilrogg refused to be caught with the rest. His clan hid and endured while Alliance patrols hunted the remnants of the invasion. The chieftain's ability to keep his warriors beyond reach became one of the last demonstrations of independence left to an Old Horde otherwise scattered and imprisoned.
When Ner'zhul's forces reopened the Dark Portal from Draenor, Kilrogg returned through it with his surviving warriors. He joined a new struggle over the fate of the orcish homeworld as Ner'zhul searched for powers that could open paths to other worlds. Kilrogg's story shows the survival of an older warlord past a war that had destroyed many of his contemporaries; his clan carried its battlefield experience into the final crisis of Draenor.
