Full History
The Argent Dawn rose in lands where trust had collapsed. Plague had turned neighbors against one another, and the Scarlet Crusade's growing intolerance made cooperation even harder. Yet the Dawn continued to recruit across racial and political divisions. Argent Quartermaster Hasana, a troll serving the order, embodied that choice.
Hasana's responsibility was practical. Fighters needed provisions and equipment if they were to survive repeated journeys into the Plaguelands, and a resistance movement could not endure on courage alone. Her place at the Bulwark showed that the order's work depended on people who maintained its supply lines as much as on those who confronted the undead. None of that required the Dawn to become an arm of the Horde or the Alliance.
A troll helping sustain a campaign in the ruins of a human kingdom would have seemed improbable during the wars of earlier generations. The Scourge created a new kind of danger, one that spared neither human cities nor the peoples once counted as their enemies. The Dawn's response was to build an institution broad enough to resist it.
