Full History
Coleman Farthing seeks retribution against the Agamand family, whose mills fell to the Scourge during Lordaeron's destruction. From Brill, he sends an agent to recover evidence of the family members who became undead. His quest gives a personal voice to the long suffering hidden inside Tirisfal's ruined farms and industrial sites.
The Agamands had tried to defend their property by barricading it against the approaching undead. In Farthing's account the defense failed, and members of the household joined the forces occupying the mills. What had once been a local family's livelihood became a haunted stronghold near settlements of newly freed Forsaken. Farthing remembers the people rather than speaking of them only as interchangeable monsters.
The grievance also exposes a contradiction of the Forsaken existence. Farthing himself is undead, yet he distinguishes his freedom from the Scourge's enslavement of the Agamands. His request belongs to the original World of Warcraft starting world; it should not be converted into a claim that some unnamed adventurer has already fulfilled his revenge. The historical facts are the fall, the testimony, and the continuing danger.
