Quick Overview

Hyjal Summit is a new Forever raid set in the aftermath of the Third War's defense of Nordrassil. The mountain carries the memory of Archimonde's defeat and the sacrifice of the wisps. Forever opens new conflicts in a landscape still recovering from that battle.

Full History

Mount Hyjal was already one of the most important places in Azeroth's historical imagination before any new instance appeared. Malfurion Stormrage, Jaina Proudmoore and Thrall joined their forces there in a delaying struggle against Archimonde. The defense saved the world tree at terrible cost and ended an age of night elf immortality. The summit's history therefore begins with a completed Warcraft III event, not with raid bosses newly discovered in 2026.

WoW: Forever uses the recovering mountain for a different adventure. Its twenty-player Hyjal Summit is part of the new original-world future, where factions seek to heal the land even as unexplained threats emerge. The raid should be described through confirmed setting and stakes until more complete encounter text is available.
