Nightclaw Cavern is associated with the independent druids of Shadowgale Forest. Its location within the Skyborne homeland gives it a different context from the barrow dens of ancient Kalimdor.
The Forever beta preserves recorded histories of rebellion against Prince Tortheldrin’s policies at Eldre’Thalas, including a veiled figure called the Shal’nan and the spread of naturalistic practices among dissenters. Those accounts form part of Forever’s new retrospective storytelling and must not be mistaken for publications available by 2007.
The cavern is therefore a meeting point of newer Skyborne history and older druidic ideas. It offers important context for the Nightclaw without licensing unsupported claims that every detail of their ten-thousand-year history has been established.
