Full History

Malorne’s Retreat bears the name of Malorne, the great white stag revered among the ancient powers of Kalimdor. His connection to Cenarius and the War of the Ancients anchors the place in the older mythic history of the night elves.

The war against the Burning Legion cost Azeroth many guardians. Memory of those sacrifices continued among druids and the night elves, for whom Hyjal remained both a sanctuary and a battlefield.

Forever identifies this retreat on its new Hyjal map. The landmark’s specific foundation and the events that will take place there are still unverified; they must not be filled by later retail stories.
