An initial refusal of Doomhammer’s proposal precedes increased troll cooperation. Event 61 already records alliance; keep initial refusal distinct and undated. The manual states Zul’jin first declined an invitation from Doomhammer before the worsening elven conflict encouraged cooperation.

Zul’jin inherited the grievance of a forest-troll nation whose lands had been taken through centuries of elven settlement and human alliance. His Second War agreement with the orcs exploited that older conflict. The much earlier victory over Kith’ix, described only in later lore, belongs to the Amani people’s distant collective memory, not to a documented action by Zul’jin himself.
