Full History

The Slithering Scar is an immense burrow and hive complex in Un’Goro, associated with the silithid that spread through southern Kalimdor. Their tunnels suggest a threat larger and older than the predators visible on the crater’s surface.

The silithid’s history is bound to the ancient qiraji and the conflicts of the southern deserts. Their presence in Un’Goro shows that the ecological isolation of the crater did not prevent incursions from forces rooted in the far south.

The hive connects the apparent wilderness of Un’Goro to the political and military history of Silithus. Its tunnels are evidence of an organized menace rather than an incidental infestation.
