Full History

Ban’aethal is a ruined site on Zephras Isle, among the places visited as the Skyborne’s safety deteriorates. Its stones belong to the distinct continuity of the descendants of ancient Eldre’Thalas refugees.

The Forever beta’s recorded encounters include unsettled elemental activity in the area. That trouble is consistent with the wider crisis caused by the disappearance of the wind spirits, though the exact cause of this particular ruin has not been established.

Ban’aethal preserves an important unanswered question: what fell here, and when? The site deserves a separate history, but its founding and destruction cannot be responsibly supplied from a map label alone.
