Full History
A vast weapon is embedded in the remains of a being of enormous size at the Master’s Glaive. The ancient object predates the current night-elven settlements of Darkshore and is treated as a site of extraordinary significance.
By the original game era, the Twilight’s Hammer had taken an interest in the monument and the power it might represent. Night-elven observers and travelers were drawn to the site, but its ultimate explanation remained uncertain in the older available evidence.
The blade's extraordinary scale invited explanations long before any scholar could prove exactly what lay beneath the ruined shore. Night-elven tradition treated the object with awe, while the Twilight's Hammer approached it as a possible focus of power and worship. Those responses are themselves historical facts about the peoples encountering the site: one civilization remembered the sacred danger of ancient powers, and another actively sought to wake what should remain dormant. The glaive's appearance marks an older world that cannot be reconstructed merely by counting kingdoms and wars. In Darkshore, the earth holds evidence of a struggle that precedes many familiar histories.
Modern accounts may name the being impaled by the weapon and describe a specific battle against titan-forged warriors. That material cannot automatically be projected back into the sources available to the original World of Warcraft. The earlier story can confidently place the weapon, its monstrous remains, the cult's interest and the warnings of watchers such as Onu at the center. What it cannot do without separate period evidence is settle every ancient identity or minute of combat. This distinction makes the article stronger, not weaker: it allows the ancient site to remain a compelling mystery while preserving a true boundary between what was known then and what was written much later.
The glaive is important as a mystery rather than as proof of every later account of titans and Old Gods. The original history can describe the weapon, the remains and the cultists without importing named combatants or battles established only in later sources.
